Sub-pages are supported already by this theme.
For other changes, it sounds as though you’ll need to create a Child Theme, or have you one already?
Subpages are supported, yes. But I would like the subpages to be a drop down rather than show on the main menu. Currently they are showing on the main menu.
As far as the sidebar issues, if I need to create a Child Theme, would you tell me exactly what I need to do? Thanks in advance.
And one other problem, my RSS isn’t working. When it is clicked it takes me to a page with codes. Any suggestion?
Actually the RSS on this page is doing the same thing. Is it possible that it is my computer?

Can you provide link the issue of sub-pages not dropping down in the menu? I can’t replicate it on that theme’s demo website.
I wouldn’t need to tell you most of the stuff, it’s already covered in an 8-step-guide on that link.
Are you reading your raw feed? If so, it will output as code. It needs to be interpreted by a third-party service not to be code.

Basically, I only want the first level to show and I want the second and third levels, and any additional levels I show to be on a drop down and not on the menu.
