Can you therefore create a Custom Menu through Appearance > Menus section of the dashboard
http://codex.wordpress.org/Appearance_Menus_Screen
And then for the menu item you don’t want linked, just put a hash tag in the link URL?

Okay, so now I am totally lost and my drop down menu isn’t working anymore. Ugh! I believe I have all the pages set up correctly parent/ child but you can’t see anything under Suggestions anymore. The pages do appear in the right hand margin under Suggestions.
see link http://lmctraveling.com/
Should I delete the pages and start over?

If you’ve set up a custom menu, you’ll need to set up the child menu items manually (through the same Appearance > Menus process) http://codex.wordpress.org/Appearance_Menus_Screen#Rearranging.2C_Configuring.2C_and_Deleting_Menu_Items
Okay, I have the custom menu working now (drop down works). I am still stumped on how to remove the link from the “suggestion” button. This is the url link. What should the code look like with hashtag?

thanks

For the “suggestion” menu item, go to the “Custom Links” section [screenshot] and then instead of this URL (from the example screenshot):
http://
Put one sole hash tag:
#
That worked! Mucho gracias! 🙂
I am having an issue with my facebook. It is pointing to my free blog account and not the new domain.com site. How do I fix this, point to the new domain.com name?
thx.
Lisa
Lisa – try deactivating JetPack and reactivating it – it should ask you for the new domain info. If that does not work, you need to start a new thread on the JetPack forum here so they can help you:
