I have the same question and after looking through the forums I came upon an interesting fix. Maybe this will help you Kasseiopeia. However, I can create the custom link and nest a child page under it, but when I go to save menu it moves the sup-page back to a top level page. Actually, when I try to place the custom link in any place besides a top level menu item (ie child or grandchild) it reverts to a top level menu item after I click save menu. Thanks for your reply. I had a look at the “Fix” link you suggested. I have tried # before but it doesn’t seem to work for me (regardless of it being head nav menu or a child menu) it just gives me an error message. I have just linked the child menu back to my homepage now, which is of course not ideal 🙁
Hope someone got something clever to say about how to fix it without the issues we have experienced.
