    Hi everyone. I am a wordpress beginner and because of that I am completly confused while my websites drop down menu is not working anymore. I haven’t changed anything it just stopped working one day.
    Also, I know I need to upgrade and I barely figured out how to back it all up but now it says I need to update my Mysql and php. How do I do that? I just want to get it working again…

    The current (v3.31) WordPress minimum requirements are
    PHP version 5.2.4 or greater
    MySQL version 5.0 or greater

    You may have a way to set these versions in your hosting control panel. If you can’t find an appropriate setting or are not sure whether you hosting supports these versions, you should contact your hosting company’s support for advice on how to ensure you are using these versions.

    My host is yahoo so I would need to contact them and they would upgrade it for me? Sorry if this sounds silly..

    I’ve never used yahoo hosting. You’ll have to ask them whether there’s somewhere you can select the version in your control panel or whether they will do that for you. Let them know you’re running WordPress 3.31 and need PHP version 5.2.4 or greater & MySQL version 5.0 or greater
