Drop down category when posting

Hi

Is there any plugin that will do this please:

I want to have a WordPress site where users are specified as contributors. When they go to make a post I would like them to be able to choose a category to put their post in, but I would like the category menu to be more obvious (rather than at the side – to make sure they pick an appropriate one) maybe a drop down menu after the title. Is there a plugin that will do this with the category?
