The drop box at http://rocketllama.com/ongoing/ has things listed out of order. I can't imagine why Special Editions got listed between #136 and #137. That's neither chronological nor alphabetical. How do I control the order of items listed?
A related question: How do I make the list hierarchical? We need a clear distinction between those that fall under Modern Webcomics and those that fall under Original.

Your categories are sorting in Category ID order. That basically means in the order in which they were created.
The answers to your questions are found on two Codex pages. Take a look and see if you can resolve them yourself. If not, ask questions about what you're not clear on.
In these writeups, pay attention to the orderby parameter and the hierarchical parameter.
