   I am following the directions for putting wordpress in its own directory and then copying the index.php to the sites root directory.

   I am using dreamweaver as my way to manage the files.

   When I try to put the edited index.php on the server I get asked:

   Put dependent files?

   What should I click?

   Thanks!

   That is a Dreamweaver message you can turn off I think.

   I have used WP and DW together for years and never said ok to dependent files.
