drag and drop

Up until WordPress version 3.9 I was able to drag and drop pictures onto my posts and pages that I was creating. I am no longer able to perform that action and tried to go back to WordPress Version3.8.3 where I was able to perform that action but was unable to do that either.
Does anyone out there know the trick, if there is one anymore , on how to be able to drag and drop pictures onto my posts and pages? Been trying to figure out how to do that for a couple weeks now!
