   Hello,

   I noticed a bug, but have never reported one before, so I didn't want to go jumping in before I found out if anyone else reported it/experienced it:

   While using the new wp_nav_menu, I created a menu and then added pages from my site onto it. If I then change the status of one of the pages to "draft", it should remove itself from the site, but it does not.

   Perhaps the page should remain in the menu I created in the backend (though certainly not on the front end of the site)... perhaps there would be an intuitive way to mark that page as a draft on the new menu editor page (different colour, etc).

   I thought I remember seeing something like that reported but using http://core.trac.wordpress.org/search?q=wp_nav_menu&noquickjump=1&ticket=on&changeset=on&milestone=on&wiki=on didn't see that specifically.

   There should be a big commit on menus later today (Apr 22, 2010) so if the problem is still there after that, you might consider reporting it to trac. See Reporting Bugs. Your forum login will login you into trac.

   Is there any update on this? I see the problem is still there in Release Candidate 1.

   My draft pages are also still showing.

   Confirmed. This is still a bug in WordPress 3.0.4

   You have to manually remove the items from the menu. If someone has the link, though, it should be possible to access those unpublished (draft) pages anyway.

   My solution was to change the post_type in the DB to something like "unpublished-page".

   So they won't show up anywhere in the website.
