Downloading old posts from an outside host (eg, Diaryland or Blogger or LJ) (2 posts)

I kept a blog at Diaryland for years, and it's all still up. I figure there must be a quick and easy way to download all those posts to my wordpress blog. Using RSS only gets me the last ten. I tried searching the Plug-ins but I didn't come up with anything (I assume this is my fault as my guess is there is a term for this and I just don't know it)
I tried searching for "transferring blogs" "downloading posts" I even just tried seraching for the word "Diaryland" and "Livejournal" but I didn't get it.
    Soooo...
    maybe someone knows?

    The keyword is "importing":

If your old blogging tool is not there - the only remaining solution is RSS. Make sure that the feed displays ALl the posts, not only the latest ten.
