I am completely new to WordPress. I am trying to download Atahualpa. It won't work. It gets listed as a broken theme w/note that the stylesheet is missing. I noticed the version I see from my manage themes page is older than what I find on WordPress.org. I downloaded the latest version to my temp files as a zip. I don't know how to open and apply it. Can anyone help a neophyte?

I ran into this with another popular theme, and it turned out the WP's theme repository has some funny processing of zipped uploads, I think that's what it was.
I would contact the author of the theme and have them check it out and maybe re-upload. It's probably nothing that you're doing wrong.

Oh, I think I may have missed your question... to unzip files, you'll need something like 7-Zip if you use Windows. Mac has a bunch of unzippers, too.

Posted 2 years ago #Thanks Flamenco, I followed your link and downloaded 7zip (the .exe version because it was 50/50 and I know nothing). I am on Windows. I tried uploading again from my temp file but it failed again. The message says that the destination folder already exists. Can anyone help?
