Not sure what version, How do I find that?
ok, when I download a new theme, it gives me the optioin to open or to save and I have tried both but not sure what program to open it in. can someone walk me through? I am slow to learn this.

ok, when I download a new theme, it gives me the optioin to open or to save and I have tried both but not sure what program to open it in. can someone walk me through? I am slow to learn this.
Save it. Open the archive/zip file and extract the theme folder. Upload the folder to your wp-content/themes directory.
