   Hi,
   As my topic shows, I'm at the very beginning of the process of using WordPress. I downloaded both WordPress and a theme to my computer. I'd like to start using it, but I don't know what to do next.

   You'll have to copy the files to a web server and run the installation script. You'll also have to setup a database for it. For more details and step by step instructions, see the Codex.
