Downloadable File Path

    Hello, I have a 40 meg zip file that I am using as a downloadable virtual product. (It’s an album of mp3 files). It’s too big to upload via the wordpress uploader, so I have uploaded it via ftp to /wp-content/uploads/woocommerce_uploads

    then in the “File Path” field I have added this:
    /wp-content/uploads/woocommerce_uploads/filename.zip

    I have checked the virtual and downloadable check boxes.

    Problem is, when I put an order through, mark it “complete” in the order admin panel, go back to my account page where the completed order shows up, click on the link to download the product and the link is broken.

    Any idea what I am doing wrong?

    I just figured it out. It was a problem with the download method. I am using 1and1 shared hosting and apparently the only method that seems to want to work is “Redirect only”.

    I figured I would post this just in case anyone else is having the same issue.
