I found the zipped files, it was just the way my computer was downloading them theme….
I have the same problem – where did you find the zipped files?

I went under upload theme in wordpress, choose file and clicked on my downloaded folder and they were there in a zip file. Going through the choose file in wordpress is the only way I was able to see the zipped files….hope that helps….
Unfortunately not – I downloaded my theme files but they are not zipped. If I click on install from the site i got he files from this just takes me to a link to pay for installation
The file you get when you click the Download button is zipped. It sounds like your system is automatically unzipping the archive when it is downloaded which is odd. It could be because you click on the file when it is downloaded which on a Mac will extract the archive in the download location folder.
That said it should not be necessary to download the theme. You can install it directly from Appearance -> Themes by searching “simone”.
