Download option for a photogallery

    I’m using a photoblog with the nextgen plugin. What I’m missing however is a download option. I would like to have the following options:
    – a checkbox for every photo, album AND gallery
    – users should have the option to add photo’s, albums or galleries to their favorites (by using the earlier mentioned checkboxes)
    – from the favorites a user should have the option to download all selected photo’s, albums or galleries composed in a ZIP file to their desktop. Thus getting the original sized photo’s.

    I’m hoping someone has a solution for this because I really like the photoblog themes for WordPress.

    I’m looking for the same option. Have you find a solution?
    I’m thinking about ecommerce plugin but it looks not very easy to bypass payment…

    Hi there,

    I haven’t found a solution yet. Because of that I’ve decided to switch to Coppermine (until WordPress offers the download options).

    If anyone has a solution for the download option as described above I would be much obliged. Maybe someone out there is willing to build a plugin for that.

    Did any of you find a wordpress solution for the “downloadable” photo albums?

    Hello Rzamith,

    I looked today at the plugins for WordPress. Still didn’t find the desired solution.
    Maybe a skilled developer can make this.
    I would indeed appreciate it!
