There isn’t a built-in way to get a download link to show up automatically, but you’d just press the Add Media button one more time and add a link instead of a player the 2nd time around.
I’m not that familiar with the audio player plugins out there, so I’m not sure if there’s a plugin that will auto-add a download link together when you insert an HTML5 audio player, but try searching at http://wordpress.org/plugins/ if you haven’t already.
I would also like the download link to show up automatically as well. I will be working on a site that has some non-technical users that may not like to have to link the same file twice.
Let me know if you came across a solution. If not, how do we make this a feature request?
