   Im trying to update multiple plugings but they all give me the same error.

   Download failed.: name lookup timed out

   Installation Failed

   I've tried disabling "Curl Transport" Using HTTP Module on the Core Control plugin but that just then replaces the error with this one..

   Unpacking the update.

   Incompatible archive PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Invalid archive structure

   Can someone help me?

   Had the same problem and found a fix in this thread http://wordpress.org/support/topic/278487?replies=26
   You need to load a new version of http.php to your wp-includes folder. It's a simple download from that post

   mine did that a couple times when trying to upgrade to 2.8 so I stopped and went about my day. That evening I tried again and it worked fine.
