Just attempted to upgrade a website both WP 3.3.1 and several plugins and getting this message: Download failed. Failed writing body (66 != 1448)
the numbers vary but ...
So I manually FTP'd the latest version of WP and still get the error ... any ideas why?

More than likely your are out of disk space on your hosted account. Check with your host.
