I have just clicked the download link to install wordpress 3.5.1 and watched the file download, should it run and install itself automatically? what should i do if it hasnt? I have a zipped folder in my downloads and dont know how to run it – can anyone help?

If your webhost uses cpanel, you may want to install WordPress via the Fantastico installer. Otherwise, you will need to use FTP to upload the Zip file and uncompress it there OR unzip it on your hard drive and upload the folders and files. You will also need to set up a database and user.
