Downgrading from 3.5.1

    Despite attempting everything given for resolving the pdf and media upload issues, I’ve not been able to fix the problem. Is it possible for me to go back to an earlier version of WordPress? I have to be able to upload those types of files. I’ve been dead in the water for almost a week now due to this issue.

    While you may be causing security and compatibility issues by downgrading, please note that some of the hosting companies insist on upgrading to the latest version of WordPress, apart from the fact that Google too takes note of older software versions and you may find notices to that effect in your GWT account. So, instead of inviting more troubles than solving, we strongly recommend using only the latest version of WP. If you have problems with your installation, it is better and easier to solve them than problems associated with downgrading.
