My site got PR 3 in 3 months but now its 0 and some PR Checker sites says -1.
What had happen, I am not sure at this point. My wild guess says because I am using wordpress on my site and for past couple of days I am getting lots of track back spam links from adult sites that could be the reason, Does any one confirm me if it is the reason?
How I am gonna get back to my original PR?

Page rank is about much more than what application you have running your site. Check your backlinks, for example.

my point is that if you have bad(adult sites etc.) back links; that will cause negative PR. Don't you think that?
no i dont. the content of a site that links to you is only used to determine whether or not the link is in context to what is being linked to -- in other words.
You have site about birds. Do other sites about birds link to you?
Yes: Google likes that, and PR might be positively affected
No: Google doesnt care, and PR probably wont be positively affected BUT WONT BE negatively affected.
Do you understand the difference?
Google doesnt punish sites for who links to them.
Youre also confusing a backlink with a comment within a link, and thats NOT the same either.
A backlink is someone that Links to you.
A link left on your site via a spam trackback or comment is a link from you to them -- and thats a backlink for them, NOT you.
Does Google punish sites that link to known shit sites? I have no clue, not do I care to. I take care of my spam, and always have. Thats part of being a responsible web master, regardless of the web application I use.

Couple of things which I can think of which might have caused it.
You have two index files in your root directory (like an index.html and index.php)
You gathered an obscene amount of backlinks in a relativly quick and unnatural method. (blanket directory submissions)
You bought the domain off of someone and the transfer downgrade is just being implemented.
Black Hat SEO i.e. cloaking, hidden text, keyword stuffing... etc.
Any number of reasons...

would you explain how trackback links work in wordpress?
Pretty much the same as they work with any blogging platform.
