    If I re-enter an already subscribed email address in the form’s fileds, I then get a “Click here to update your profile” (Which BTW needs to be translated into French) which leads to a page with the following error message:

    “Petit problème… Google Chrome n’est pas parvenu à trouver la page id grafix.us7.list-manage.com.
    Essayez avec cette orthographe : list-­manage.­com”

    “Translation: Google Chrome could not fin the page id grafix.us7.list-manage.com.
    Try with the following spelling: list-­manage.­com”

    Why please?

    Hi,

    To be more precise:

    I do have the “WordPress List Subscribe Form” plugin installed.
    The subscription works fine. But if I try to re-enter an already subscribed email address, this link appears (which should be translated into French BTW):

    » Cette adresse email est déjà inscrite à la liste. Click here to update your profile.

    [Translation: this email address is already subscribed. Click here to update your profile.]

    If I do “Click here to update your profile”, I get the following message:

    [Translation: Problem… Google Chrome could not find the page id grafix.us7.list-manage.com.]

    As you can see, the link generated has a space “id grafix.us7.list-manage.com”, which means this link automatically generated will never work.

    How can this be solved please?

    Hey there,

    Thanks for posting! The issue that you’re seeing is related to how our plugin currently populates the ‘update profile’ link with the MailChimp account name. In instances where the account name has spaces, there are some instances in which the URL may not open as expected.

    I’ve gone ahead and pass along this interaction to our developers and in the mean time, take a look at the available workarounds that I described in my reply here:

    Could you also please pass along the fact that .po files do not translate “Click here to update your profile.” into French.
