   Copied a word doc to my post today, all formatted, and my post has double spaced every sentence. Didn't happen on the previous posts, but I can't get it back to single spacing - any ideas? PS I am a non teckie!!

   It's likely some of the garbage code that Word generates in the background. Can you post a link so we can take a look?

   You might go into the post through the admin panel and look at it in html view. If you see a lot of extra tags, you may want to remove them.

   I've had the same problem. Sometimes the font formatting comes over from MS Word and shows in the post. Is there as way to clean it all out?

   john,

   If I'm taking copy from a Word document, I usually either save it as a text file first, which eliminates the garbage 'markup' or I'll paste it in in HTML view so I can see exactly what is there.

   If you're using the Visual Editor within WordPress you can also click the Paste from Word button, which opens a new window and allows you to paste in your Word doc and it cleans it for you.
