    Hello there,

I want to give my readers the html code of an image or banner to display on their website. So I put the code on my website in the visual editor. But when it displays wp has turned the double quotes of the html code into the right double quotation marks. So by copying the code it won't work or you must turn the quotes back manually. Is there a way to turn of this automatic switch. Thanks in advance.

Instead of using double quotes, try putting " in HTML/Text editor and switch to visual editor.

    Heck! I mean the HTML entity of ". i.e & q u o t ; or & # 3 4 ; without spaces.

Nop, I've tried that already but wp switches it back into " the moment it is displayed It switches the " into " again and turns it into the curled quotes ( ” ) when displayed.

    Thanks Prasanna,

After some search I found this issue in this forum 4 years ago. Someone made a plugin for it so you could put the html code you want to put on the site for someone else between and and then the wptexturize would leave it alone. Now I found you don't need the plugin anymore for it seems to be default to use for html codes to stay the way they are. Seems logical. There is even a button for it I see now.
