Hi I just upgraded two of my blogs to 2.1 and since then, posts with 2 or more categories were appearing twice on the index but only once at the Manage section.
These blogs are http://mom.exchange.ph (3ks redux theme) and http://kikay.exchange.ph (dandyna theme)
However, some blogs I upgraded had no problem. http://pisces-iscariot.exchange.ph (connections theme) and http://aklatangpambata.org (regulus theme).
my host runs MySQL 4.0.27-standard and PHP 4.4.4. Any help much appreciated. These links haven't really helped.

Do you have a plugin Sideblog where the duplicate posts appear? I just read somewhere about this issue.

yes rudolf you were probably referring to this. I am not sure what sidebar plugin the poster was referring to. at any rate, here are my plugins.

of these, catcount is the only one that has anything to do with categories. i tried deactivating it but the problem was still there.

well what do you know. i deactivated / activated my plugins one at a time (like I'm sure, some troubleshooting guide says I should of course), and I think the culprit is eventCalendar. I turned it off and voila it's all ok.
I'm running a copy 2 versions behind (I think). I love that little piece of complicated code, so I'll update it and report back here what happens.

Same issue occurs with Category Visibility-RH Rev 1.0.0d plugin.

issue resolved since upgraded event calendar plugin to latest version to date (3.1)
