Hi, I cannot give you a solution right now, I need more information. Which is your provider? The test is working and you receive each email sent? (the test sends 3 emails).

    Stefano.

    Hi Stefano,

Thank you for getting back to me. My provider id Go Daddy and I use as a host: relay-hosting.secureserver.net with default port and no secure protocol. When I click test I receive only one email.

Any ideas what that could be?

    Thanks you

There are two test button, one which tests the wordpress mail system, and one which tests the Newsletter mailing system.
Anyway I had a lot of problem with godaddy: first its mail service is very very low end, second they don’t let the connection to external mail servers.

Are you sure the SMTP configuration is ok? Did you test the SMTP configuration?

Eventually try to open a ticket to godaddy explaining the situation.

    Stefano.

I agree that Go Daddy is not the best. They also have SMTP limit to 250 emails per day. Do you think that HostGator would be a better option?

I’ve tried sending testes messages from the diagnostics tab and I received all 3 messages.

So it’s strange if you did not get confirmation messages (even if I experienced with GoDaddy mails to be sent and other not).

The confirmation email is correctly set up? Did you change something, like the subject?

Try to change the body of the confirmation email removing from it links and writing only a simple text.

BTW their SMTP limit should be 1000 per day, not 250, I believe.

    Stefano.

    Hi Stefano,

I got it working. I did what you suggested. I removed the subject and body of the confirmation email and clicked save. It restored itself to the defaults and it worked. I suppose something changed after I updated the plugin to the latest version.

Thank you for your help and a great plugin. I’ll definitely donate something 🙂

    Thanks
    Rich
