Double <p /> tags/Validation

    I’ve been wrestling with this all day. Help! Heh.
    First, some basic setup information. I’m using the following:

    • Kubrick 1.2.3 and the Recently Commented Posts plugin that came bundled with it.
    • Condensed Content for Date and Category Archives.
    • Subscribe to comments.
    • Search Hilite

    I use <hr /> and lists abundantly. The problem is, with just Kubrick the_content is bookended by a single set of which renders it invalid. Adding on one of the plugins (I’m not exactly sure which, but if I think it’s Subscribe to comments.) adds another set. So the_content is bookended by <p >content which gives me even more problems validating. Any suggestions how I can do away with all the paragraph tags trying to kill the_content?

    Ah, the plugin adding the extra set of tags was Condensed Content for Date and Category Archives, not Subscribe to comments, sorry.
