Don't want the featured image to appear on top of post (5 posts)

    Hi.

    I'm using the Origin theme on my website http://www.practicaryoga.com.

    I would like to select an image on my post as the featured image to be used on the thumbnails at the front page and also as the big image featured on the sticky posts, but without having that image appearing big at the top of my post.

    I would like the appearance of the post to stay as it is, that is with that picture most likely not at the top and for sure smaller. But when I select any of the images that I'm using as the featured one, it appears as I said big and on top. That's a problem if none of the images is as important as to appear that big but if nonetheless I want one of them to be the one appearing in the thumbnail and not a random one. Same for sticky posts.

    I hope that you can help me. Thank you!

    Sharon

    If you don't select a featured image, the first image in the post will be used as the thumbnail on front page. Does this help you?

    Not really, because for instance in this post http://www.practicaryoga.com/2012/08/22/chakra-muladhara-encontrando-estabilidad/ I didn't choose any featured image so I should have gotten the first one on the thumbnail, but I got the second one.

    And also I tried before not choosing a featured image and then I selected that post as a sticky post, but then I didn't get any picture at all on the front page!!

    I would like to know if there's a way to just select an image as featured without having to have it appearing big on top.

    Thanks.

    Hi! You should delete

    <?php if ( current_theme_supports( 'get-the-image' ) ) get_the_image( array( 'meta_key' => 'Thumbnail', 'size' => 'single-thumbnail', 'link_to_post' => false, 'image_class' => 'featured', 'attachment' => false ) ); ?>

    in post.php (Apperance -> Editor). I found the solution HERE.

    Thank you very much.

    Just tried it in this new post http://www.practicaryoga.com/2012/10/02/una-introduccion-a-la-meditacion/ and it looks alright.
