   Is there any way to make it so that anything before the "More" insert doesn't show on the actual post page? For example, if I put an image above the "More" insert it doesn't show up on the actual post page.

   I don’t think you can do that by using More.

   You can try using manual excerpts instead. They don’t appear within posts, and you can use Excerpt Editor to make the homepage display your manual excerpts instead of any content you have above the More tag.
