Hi,
Any help would be much appreciated. I am new at this. I installed the plugin "fast and secure contact form" or something like that. It has captcha on it.
I can fill out the form and it says that the message sent successfully but I don't receive the message in my inbox.
I have tested my email and it does receive email sent from a normal email account.
What could be the problem?
Thanks
Lance

Hi,
That article seems to be too complicated to fix this problem. I can't imagine I would have to go through all that.
And it seems to relate more to a windows user whereas I'm on a Mac.
Perhaps I'm wrong, but I would imagine there has to be a simpler way for it to work properly. No?

Hi,
All I did was add something to the "From" field in the options to the contact form.
so I put "wordpress@lancesview.com" (since my blog is at http://www.lancesview.com )in the From field and now I can receive emails. Strange. I guess my email host doesn't allow emails without a "From" field.
Hopefully it keeps working.
Thanks

The fact that your email host doesn't deliver email without a "from" field sounds like a good thing to me. How would you know where the email originated from without it? It could be a spoofed message from a malicious individual, for all that the email host knows.
