Don't re-activate an email after import (8 posts)

    Dear,
    I usually import my contacts every month since I've many differenct sources and collaborators so the same mail is imported many times and I've found that if an email is unsubscribed - or it has another status - it comes active again...
    How can I avoid this?

    We are planning to improve the export functionality so that it maintains subscriber status. Until we release that enhancement, I'm afraid there's not too much you can do with your workflow if you are importing to new lists.

    If you import to the same list though we don't overwrite the status and we match any existing subscriber instead of creating duplicates.

    But when I import a existing contact in the same list the record remain unique but the status change to "active"...

    Perhaps you have discovered a bug. Could you provide some additional information and I will use that to discuss with our Dev team.
