    I have somehow messed up the template for my theme that I am using. If you go to my site at http://oakjournal.harleysperch.com you will see that the bottom bar has stretched itself all the way across the page instead of being the same width as the content above. Any idea where this is messed up and how I fix it?

    It's not a PHP problem. It is a CSS/HTML problem.

    Open your Theme's style.css file and change the width of the #footer to match the width of the second above.

    If you don't know how to do this, then upload your backup or original copy of your Theme's style sheet and it should fix the problem.

    Drat - I uploaded the sheet again but it didn't fix it. I tried to find something in the #footer but all I see is this:

    #footer {
    border: solid 1px #FFFFFF;
    border-width: 1px 0;
    padding: 0.5em;
    color: #000000;
    background: url(images/woodcolumnbg.jpg) repeat 100% 0;
    text-align: center;
    height: 50px;

    None of it seems to apply?

    Well, I have visually fixed the problem at least for viewing on my computer (but might look funky for other resolutions alas) by adding a 92% width and a 3% left margin. Is there a command that I can put instead of the left margin adjustment that will center that problem portion? It just aligns left without the 3%.

    If that's your whole #footer definition then you have a corrupt file. There's no closing bracket.

    Nah, there is a closing bracket, I just forgot to copy it in the copy and paste.
