I just created my blog. I'm the only member.

When I try to add a Category it says I don't have permission to do that.

    Why?

says in the instructions if you read it...

you need to go to wp-includes/pluggable-functions.php...

Open it up in a text editor and find those lines to replace.

Thanks, but I just deleted the blog and recreated it.

For the future, can you give me an example of a text editor to use? I normally use FrontPage 2003 for web design but I don't think I can edit .php pages with it, can I?

PS... I couldn't find the page that you mentioned, that's why I asked.

    I like PSPad :)

And it might be "pluggable.php" in 2.1.x + versions. Something like that. It's mentioned in the comments on that article - the line numbers change for newer versions as well.
