Donation Plugin for Non-profit (6 posts)

I'm building a non-profit website/blog using wordpress as a CMS. I'm just about done building it, but I need to setup a very simple donation page.

I haven't done ecommerce sites before, so are there any painless plugins that allow for a quick form (address, credit card, donation amount, submit button) that can tackle this problem.

I guess they don't want to use Paypal, cause of how much they take and the wait, any HELP??

    Thanks and all the best!

Not to my knowledge (not paypal based that is).

To accept a CC, you're going to need a lot more than just a plugin, as it requires a payment gateway, etc. Those have transaction fees as well, so I'm not sure the trade off is going to be that great.

If they are a registered non-profit, you may want to look at http://firstgiving.com/

If they did want to use Paypal, there *is* a plugin for that (I forgot the name, but it is out there. Actually I think it's a widget) However Paypal is relatively easy to add without a plugin.

It is easy to add the donation code anywhere you want. Typically in the sidebar of your theme. You just need to signup for Paypal and then use their 'create button' links to create the one that works well for your site.
