Mapping domain to page/subdirectory on single-site install

Hi all,
I have a client that is hosting a conference soon. In the past they had a separate domain/install/hosting package for the conference website. This year, they are looking to integrate the conference website functionality into the main website. However, they would like to keep the domain.

Here’s my question, would it be possible to make a domain point to a page/subdirectory on a single site install?

For example, I’ve created the page with the address http://parent-company.tld/conference and would like http://conference-website.tld to point to it. Not as a redirect, but have that page act as the landing page of the conference domain.
