Domain Mapping

    I am using wordpress multisite (subdirectory install) on Windows server 2008 R2 and IIS 7.5. I have 3-4 blogs creater under the network admin and I want one of the blog to have a separate domain. How can I use domain mapping plugin on a sub-directory install as I get an error:

    ” The domain mapping plugin only works if the site is installed in /. This is a limitation of how virtual servers work and is very difficult to work around.”

    Help me please….

    If you have wordpress installed as yourdoman.com/whatever/ then you cannot domain map the sub sites. The /whatever/ part would get placed in the mapped domain as well.

    So, just like the message says: you can’t.

    Set up a separate install for the domain you wanted to map.
