4795209I had/have a website set up with WordPress. I created the theme and used it for several months, hosted on GoDaddy.com servers. I called them this morning and asked for a new URL re-direct to the old domain name. That just took effect. The e-mail forwarding has not taken effect yet.
When I try to log in to the back end of my WordPress website, it kicks me out no matter what I do. I know my username and password and have been using it for months to update the website. Now the username and password don't work. When I entered my e-mail to re-set the password, that did not work. I tried going to both domains and trying to log in again. That does not work. So I have a website with two domain names, and cannot log in to the back end of the website with my username or password or e-mail to correct any issues or make any changes.
Is this an issue of waiting several hours or is there a way to log in to the back end some other way?
When I called GoDaddy the guy said he had no idea what the problem was or what I should do and suggested I just "call WordPress and ask them for help."
