doing_wp_cron in URL? (7 posts)

With this theme I'm getting a doing_wp_cron extension after the URL. Once I'm there and move around I don't see it, but initially going in -- in Firefox or Safari -- I see it.

    At http://mattmendez.com I get:

    http://mattmendez.com/?doing_wp_cron=1352525853.4011960029602050781250

    Thoughts?

    Thanks,

    Simmons

I can't see how this could be triggered by the theme. I can't reproduce this bahaviuor in order to look into it. What kind of plugins are you running?

I found this thread with people having similar issues, maybe this will help: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/doing_wp_cron?replies=11

I've seen that link too, thanks. I admit what they're discussing is a bit beyond me; all I know is that other themes don't have this problem on that same server setup.

My plugins are Akismet, All-in-One Event Calendar by Timely, SI CAPTCHA Anti-Spam, and TinyMCE Advanced. It occurred before I added TinyMCE Advanced, however.

Look what I found on Timely Support.
This suggests that the issue you're describing might be retaed to All-in-One Event Calendar by Timely.

Thanks again for this link/research; much appreciated. I'm going to revert back to the timely calendar 1.5 if I can. That should solve it.
