this plugin won't install even after changing Chmod to 777 on content folder.
Alternative ways to install instruction is poorly written. Says open file /public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-super-cache/advanced-cache.php$wp_cache_file
wthell is advanced-cache.php$wp_cache_file thers no such file and whats with $ sign

replace text CACHEHOME to my folder dir in superchache php file , except there is no CACHEHOME text in the file, it's WPCACHEHOME and it's set as variable name. Anyways ..

No, I was reluctant about using W3 Total Cache because some people described it as difficult to configure etc., but after Super Cache failed I gave it a shot and glad I did. W3 Total Cache works like a charm.
