• I’m using the latest version of SEO Yoast 1.5.3.3

On the home page, every time I fill in the focus keyword, title and description, I can find no way to save it. If I hit the ‘update’ button, it deletes everything I’ve filled in. If I don’t hit the ‘update’ button (assuming the plug-in may have an auto-save feature), but I go to the ‘page analysis’ tab, it says I have no focus keyword but doesn’t delete the data (but once I hit the update button the data will become deleted). If I hit the SEO check button, it doesn’t delete the data, but tells my I have no focus keyword (and once I hit the update button, my data then deletes).

I’ve also tried this in both FF and Chrome in case it was a browser issue. It does the same thing in both. I also had wp 3.9, so updated to 3.9.1, but still not working.

Anyone know how to solve this? Or have I missed something in the documentation and my searches, and this plug-in only works for posts?

The site this is happening on is georgiafunctionalmedicine.com

Upon further attempts to use this plug-in, I’ve found I can save focus keywords in all pages except the home page, but on the pages, I am unable to save Meta descriptions.

I’ve discovered I can create a meta description for the home page by using the Yoast ‘Bulk Description Editor.’

Still unable to change the meta description by going directly to the page and editing. And still can’t add the focus keyword.

Also, on all pages (not posts), occasionally it will save the meta descriptions and/or focus keyword, but not always. I know, it doesn’t make sense to me either.

I suspect this has to do with the template I’m using which was created in Artisteer version 4.2

    I have the same issue.

I have the same problem also. Keyword and metadescriptions works every other pages but not the front page. The front page is static. I’ve changed the static front page to normal but that doesn’t solve the problem.
