    Sadly, this just appears as a disabled WYSIWYG editor in WordPress 3.8.1. It's very disappointing, as this plugin looks beautifully simple.

    Same here. Also in 3.8.3 it doesn't work.
    When you click the "Save"-Button, it doesnt seem to save anything.

    Does anyone know a good alternative?

    Hi to fix that problem you have to go to the editor of plugin of wordpress, go to the qtranslate plugin on qtranslate/qtranlsate.php and on line 90 change define('QT_SUPPORTED_WP_VERSION', '3.8.1');
    with
    define('QT_SUPPORTED_WP_VERSION', '3.8.3');

    Than should be working.
    Ciao

    Hi Venexiano

    Thank you for your input.

    Thre is no such plugin or file qtranslate.php in my wordpress-installation.
    This problem happens with the "Rich Text Widget"-Plugin, not with the qtranslate-Plugin.
