Q2W3 Fixed Widget (Sticky Widget)
Doesn't work (4 posts)

    I can't get it to work on my site. I suspect because my widgets don't have unique IDs, but I'm not sure, and I don't know how to add them if so.

    Help appreciated.

    You are right!
    Widgets don't have unique IDs.

    To solve this you have to find register_sidebar function (look in functions.php) and change before_widget parameter.

    It looks like:

    register_sidebar( array(
    	...
            'before_widget' => '<li class="widget widget-sidebar">',
    	...
    ) );

    Change to:

    register_sidebar( array(
    	...
            'before_widget' => '<li id="%1$s" class="widget widget-sidebar">',
    	...
    ) );

    Thanks, I'll try that, but I've found another problem.

    When I activate your plugin, my homepage slider doesn't display on my homepage when I'm logged in as admin. If I log out and the view the site, the slider seems to show up. Any ideas what might be causing this?
