Hi John, thanks for the feedback. Uh, can you tell us a bit what you’ve done so far?

Have you followed this quick start guide? http://magicactionbox.com/quick-start/

yes, followed the instructions. Disabled my Headway theme, activated the default 2012 theme, turned off all other plugins – nothing worked, nothing shows up on the page regardless of what settings I use.

Also, there are too many limitations to the free version. Why would I even think of upgrading without at least a taste of the other options or the ability to see what they do? I’m sorry but to me, it seems like you’re more interested in making money selling plugins rather than actually contributing to the WordPress community.

    Hi John,

Maybe your host is disabling something on their end. We have tested it extensively 2012 theme and it works fine.

As for the free version. Thanks for trying it out. If it doesn’t have enough features I am sure there is another free optin creator plugin you can find and use.

the core function of the plugin John is to give you the ability to easily add opt in forms before and after your post articles. That’s it. and the core functionality of the plugin provides that.

we have had many users who have been happy with using just the free version and some of them have been doing some amazing things despite the *limitations* you spoke of. in fact, we even featured one of them here http://www.magicactionbox.com/featured-showcase-create-as-folk/

as for your issue, you need to go to the blog post you want to show the action box in, edit it, and assign an action box to it (like it says in the guide). You’ll also need to specify whether you want to show the action box before or after the blog post.

if the action box still doesn’t show up, could you list the steps you did so we can check if there’s anything we need to check.

If you want us to help you, then you’ll need to at least participate in troubleshooting the problem. simply saying “it doesn’t work” doesn’t really help.
