   I have just installed a new wordpress. But know when I make a new post, this post doesn't come on top but below ! Were can I change the order of these topics ? I already tried trough the query_posts but that doesn't work with orderby=ID&order=DESC... So how can I make it that he will go from the highest ID to the lowest ID.

   Typically posts show 'newest' date to 'oldest' date.

   There is a know problem with a specific version of MySQL 'breaking' the sort of newest to oldest (see http://wordpress.org/support/topic/154622?replies=15 for that discussion).

   Installed latest xammp with latest MySQL (5.0.51a) and I got still the same problem.

   Does this happen if you change to the WordPress Default 1.6 theme?
