Gwebpro Store Locator
[resolved] Doesn't quite work (10 posts)

    I immediately noticed a field to put a google maps API in - but with no instructions on how to obtain one. After some digging around I figured that out but I always get a pop up saying the API key is unauthorized or outdated and the map never shows on the page.

    Bummer. Seems every time a promising plugin like this comes along, it doesn't work "out of the box" or the creator stops developing it. :(

    Yes, that's the link we obtained the API key but it doesn't work for us. We e-mailed your support early yesterday and haven't gotten a reply.

    Hi! I´m install the plugin but not run! :(
    I see the instructions and generated the API key.

    The example in this link: http://ostakia.011labs.com/?page_id=1069

    And show this alert:

    Google has disabled use of the Maps API for this application. The provided key is not a valid Google API Key, or it is not authorized for the Google Maps Javascript API v3 on this site. If you are the owner of this application, you can learn about obtaining a valid key here: https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/tutorial#api_key

    Please let me know i can do.
    Thanks!

    Hello,

    Please check the added generated API key.

    This application also work without the API key. Please remove the API key from the settings section and check if the application is working or not?

    If the application works properly with out API key then it will be a issue of your generated API key.

    Thanks,
    Team G Web Pro

    Hello,

    You need to use API V3. It's the latest version of Google map API. So generate API V3 key.

    For generating google map API KEY see the instructions in the url- https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/tutorial

    Thanks,
    Team G Web Pro

    Jas, thanks, but i don´t understand this plugin.

    I generate the API KEY V3. Copy in the header this:

    <script type="text/javascript"
    src="http://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/js?key=YOUR_API_KEY&sensor=true">
    </script>

    And not run.
    When i removed the API key from the settings section the page initialize with any location. To 20 km from me.

    Thanks!
