When you perform a search, WordPress uses the search page. This is a separate section within DW.
So there is no way to arrange this with DW?
I’ve tried this in the “url” section, but it hasn’t worked:
http://www.mysite.com/?s=*

I’m not sure I udnerstand what you want to achieve. I thought you wanted to remove the text widgets from the search page. That’s why I wrote that it’s a separate section within DW which basically switches the widget on or off for a search page.
Yes, that’s what I wanted.
I can’t find that section you’re mentioning. Could you please enlighten me?
Thanks.
Ok, I have the 1.5.4 version of DW.
This is the list of sections I have:
Role
Data
Days
Weeks
Browser
Templates
URL
Front Page
Single Posts
Pages
Author Pages
Category Pages
Tag Pages
I think there are some missing (Movies – Issues – Custom Post Type Archives), is that right?
If so, how can I get the complete functionality? I haven’t change or tweaked anything.
And of course, I can’t find any “Search” section.
Thanks
P.D.: The server uses PHP Version: 5.2.6-1+lenny9

Ah, that explains something. You probably hit into a PHP bug. That bug is the reason why I’ve raised the PHP version requirements for the latest version of Dynamic Widgets.
Ok, so theoritecally if I change my hosting to one with php 5.4, it will work fine.
That’s what I will do anyway for this next year.
Thanks, have a merry Christmas

Just to be sure, you can do a deactivate – activate cycle of DW. Sometimes it does help. Especially when you don’t do automatic updates.
