  • Why didn’t you try to contact the plugin’s author about this via the plugin’s dedicated sub-forum?

Why should I? This is my review. I don’t want or need support. I’m not interested in getting this plugin to work, nor to help the author. I just report my experience. That is what this review function is for.

Developers of plugins spend a lot of their own time with no compensation to make them available.

The least you, as a user, can do is give them the chance to help you with a problem before saying it sucks.

Yes, I could have refrain from posting that it doesn’t do anything on my install. But that shurely would not have helped the author either. But you prefer no information above negative information, so it seems. As I said, this thing just doesn’t do anything, and I would like the author to know that. I’m already moving forward. No problem. In the mean time my problem is already solved, so I don’t need this plugin anymore. There is no incentive for me to be involved in the development of this plugin. There are thousands other plugins I have no incentive to be involved in either. This one is no different, otherwise that i tried it, and it fails on my installation. No big deal, but I cannot give more than 1 star for a plugin that doesn’t work with me, can I? At least the author now knows a bit more than if I would have not posted anything at all.

And, now if you excuse me, I’m off. Good luck with the plugin (not sarcastic, but sincere).

    Well said! 🙂
