When I click the "Check them all" button, it appears to start doing something, but nothing ever happens, the button remains, there's no message, no results, nothing...

Everything in the site is updated to the latest version.

Did you try installing the plugin 'Theme-Check'?

    Seems that may be required.

Yes, I installed both plugins at the same time. I've since deleted them though. The theme check seemed to work, but only to an extent that would freak out the client LOL!

thanks anyway for trying to help.

I only had a memory limit issue:

Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in pathto/wp-content/plugins/theme-check/checks/deprecated.php on line 184
