Maybe a stupid question. But I wonder if WP in some way save blogs in a cache memory, like the search engine Google´s cache function?

    My blog (in swedish): http://www.attila.tecknare.se

The reason I ask is that I accidentaly delated my blog database.

So I´m a little bit desperate...

No but if google had your page cached you can maybe get some of the content back. Otherwise lesson learned, backup, backup, backup.

I am confused. If you deleted the database - you/we couldn't see anything. However your blog is there with posts since August...

    Thanks.
I found a backup of the database, some post missing, but anyway, this will help me restore the blog.

My problem now is the strange letters, even after I changed to "latin1-swedish" in my blog, which is the code of the database.

There is NO encoding "latin1-swedish". That's collation. Don't touch it!
